Late July I gave birth to my first and sweet 30 week premature baby. I'm grateful towards the donated milk supplied to my infant during his crucial time of need until I was capable of producing my own supply.
He still doesn't drink enough for the amount that I produce.
So luckily milk isn't in shortage and I have so many frozen bags in my freezer. I'm willing to donate them to a family in need of mothers milk. We can locally meet up or if shipped they must pay for the service fee.
Since my labour was premature I read that the components of my milk have greater amounts of nutrients and its not even a month old. Couple of bags even contain colostrum.
I just would hate to throw it down the drain.
I'm a healthy 27 yr female, Hispanic, taking prenatal vitamins, b12, calcium, vitamins C and D, Potassium, magnesium, fiber and prebiotic.
Intaking vegan protein, and eat from all food groups. I do not consume fast food or frozen foods.
I remain in a calm environment.
Comes from a smoke free, pet free home.
In medela freezer bags, from either 1 or 2 pumping sessions.
2 Session pumps are first left in the fridge for cooling then poured into bag
(They have a clean and clear area away from other products)
Then stored into the freezer in a separate bag.
They are unpasteurized since I didn't think to give it away until now. So those who will take it must do it themselves.
Thanks a ton.
