Hi mamas and papas! I'm exclusively pumping for a premature baby who was born 2 months early. As she was a NICU baby, I am meticulous about sterilising everything and how I am handling the milk. Milk is expressed using a hospital grade pump (Medela Symphony). I wash and sterilise the pump equipment and the bottles after EVERY use without fail (I don't keep pump equipment in the fridge between pumps and wash everything at the end of each day as many do because of how premature my baby was).
The milk is frozen immediately in 100ml sterile breast milk bags. I am an overproducer so I have over 18 litres frozen, hence why I am now selling my surplus - I frankly have no space left!
My baby is an IVF baby so I have had all the usual blood screening that comes with that - HIV, Hepatitis etc etc and all were clear.
My baby has gone from a 3lb NICU baby on oxygen and an incubator to a strong 12lb little warrior!
I am a non-smoker, I do not drink alcohol at all, and I take Pregnacare breastfeeding supplements.
Happy to meet locally (I'm near Caerphilly but happy to travel to surrounding areas like Cardiff, Ystrad Mynach, Bargoed, Merthyr Tydfil, Aberdare - please contact me to check I can come to your local area before purchasing). It would need to be a public place, I won't come to private homes for obvious reasons! I may ask for a small contribution to fuel costs, dependent on how far I need to come. Milk will be transported in a freezer cool bag packed with ice packs to keep it frozen for you, you will need to have a bag on your side to transfer the milk into safely.
