Pumped for my healthy, full-term son.
Frozen immediately after pumping and stored continuously in a home freezer.
Pump parts were washed and sterilized before every pumping session.
Non-smoker.
No alcohol.
Medication: Sertraline (Zoloft) 50 mg daily.
Sertraline is one of the most extensively studied antidepressants during breastfeeding. Research has found that only very small amounts pass into breast milk, infant blood levels are typically undetectable or extremely low, and it is considered one of the preferred antidepressants for breastfeeding by many healthcare providers. As with any medication, I encourage buyers to discuss their individual situation with their pediatrician.
